Describe an item using Gerunds or Infinitives
by Chí Bảo Vương - -
Think of an item in your classroom or house. Write a sentence to describe it, using a gerund or an infinitive. Note: Replace the name of the item with any food/drink that you like (remember to put it in quotation marks)
e.g: “Pizza” is used for making clothes clean.
e.g: “Milk” is used to draw straight lines.
-
After writing your sentence, please read at least 2 of your friends' sentences and guess the item in quotation marks. Write your guesses in full sentences by replying to your friends' posts.
e.g: I think in Chi Bao’s sentence, “pizza” is a washing machine.
e.g: I think in Nhu Quynh’s writing, “milk” is a ruler.
