Specialized Goals
After this unit, you will be able to:
- Language: - Memorize understand and generalize some words and phrases related to traditions, cultural characteristics and superstitions; understand words in context; give some examples using these vocabularies.
- Determine and give the correct tress in two-syllable words with the same spelling.
- Apply comparative and superlative adjectives; articles into your exercises to improve sentence-level grammatical accuracy.
- Skills: - Read for specific information about superstition in Viet Nam.
- Compare traditions and customs in two countries (Russia and The UK) and discuss those of Viet Nam.
- Listen for specific information about the wedding traditions of a small community in the USA.
- Write a short text express your personal viewpoints about the typical characteristics of the Vietnamese people.
Prerequisites
To facilitate the achievement of the objectives set out in this unit, participants need to complete unit 6 first.
